Today is #12 of my 13 healthy living tips for 2013.
As you make progress along your journey to healthier living, pat yourself on the back. After all, you deserve kudos for your time, effort and commitment.
You may have more than one healthy living goal, some with and without designated end points. Don’t wait until you have reached the “finish line” to reward yourself. Establish milestones and note when they are achieved, so you have reason to celebrate now!
How do you like to reward yourself? Vacation, tickets to a ballgame, a new item of clothing, a massage, or maybe it’s something as simple as a bubble bath? Write down a few of your favorite things to have and do. Then, when you have successfully reached milestones, it’s time to splurge on yours truly!
Challenge #12: Have you already set goals for yourself? If not, it’s not too late to start picturing your success now.
As you track your progress, determine how and when you will treat yourself. Set aside a budget of time and/or money, and don’t miss the opportunity to indulge whenever possible.
